Hey #SonicTheHedgehog #SatAM fans!
Been working on a V2 rework of the Knothole track. I've resequenced the entire thing, updated and added some parts missed in the previous version (from over 2 years ago!), and added some extra texture. Here's a preview of where it's at so far.
Enjoy!
I'm thinking of starting a Patreon page. I've been told there's people out there who would be happy to contribute financially, which is really awesome, btw.
My typical response has been to downplay it and claim my work is not worth $$. But, is that really for ME to decide? Am I just preventing people from happily supporting the work?
I think I'm going to just open the door, and see what happens.

Slight tangent from my usual X content.
New DevLog vid just uploaded! Check it out!
In it, I show an early implementation of a character creator.
However, I think it could be a lot better.
Post one your favourite character creator systems below! 👇

a few months back, @_stovan sent me a motif idea for a #SallyAcorn Theme. I loved the idea so I took those first few notes he gave me and expanded on it. Hats off to him for inspiring the track.
The vibe is beautiful, yet mellow and heavy; representing the burden she bears as a leader, and as an orphan of royalty.
The B Section begins with her reminiscing of the "good 'ole days": being a princess in the kingdom. Innocent, light-hearted, and fun.
She then revisits the aspirations and dreams she once held of being Queen; ruling over a prosperous and happy kingdom.
... and then it fades back to the present.
I worked at it today during an X Livestream. Below is where we landed at the end of the session.
Still a WIP of course. Hope it stirs your heart a bit :)

From doing a quick mock-up for a @TeamSea3on clip to finishing up the cue before bed.
Check out my latest #SonicTheHedgehog #SatAM ReJuiced Track:

Saw this clip this morning and just HAD to add some music and SFX.
Over the past 2 hours, I did a very quick mock-up of this little background cue from #SatAM and then threw in some SFX. Enjoy!

Hey #SonicTheHedgehog #SatAM fans!
I was reminded today that I had dabbled in creating some custom #Sonic running SFXs awhile ago.
Figured, why not share it with the #SatAM community?
The following is a hybrid of og efx from the show, blended together with my own custom recreation of the running effect.
Feel free to use for your project (a simple shoutout to my channel would be appreciated)

#fastestthingalive - update 2 -
Last one for today
Here's the ending's string part:
#Fastestthingalive - update 1 -
Fully sequenced out the bass part. 👍
Now working on the Strings.
Before today, I had never realized there was a little post-chorus skippy, downward string part (0:10)! Cool!
Thought I'd share real quick.
Lots to work out still
Okay. Fine! I'LL DO IT!
I'll break-down and rework #Fastestthingalive
Ya happy??! 😤😠😏😃
The reason I haven't dived into this one is because there's a million and one remixes of this track already; yet almost no one is tackling the rest of the amazing #SatAM ost.
But the voice of the #SonicTheHedgehog #SatAM fans have grown stronger and louder the past few months (I think because more people are finding my channel).
So let's do it to it!
As is the standard practice for my recreations,
1) I will search for as many sources of the track as possible (DvD intro, closing, various dubs and youtube vids, etc.)
2) compare the tracks, match and stack them
3) extract and isolate the musical components as best as I can
4) recreate it as faithfully as possible
5) reJuice it
Here we go

As far as I am aware, this track is played only ONCE in the entire series; pretty special!

Wrote a peppy little SatAM fanfare inspired by a @TeamSea3on post a few weeks back. Here's the session
