I never expected the fucking BioWare closure announcement to spark this need to make a fanAIMV for Weight of the World, but here we are.
A little preview of something I'm working on.
I'll explain more in the thread.

So people started to push this idea that BioWare's closure is because "THE CHUDS HATE WOMEN AND GAY SHIT IN THEIR GAMES" and my immediate thought was that, no. No, we don't hate "woke" stuff in our games.
We hate when the "woke" stuff is rubbed in our faces. It shouldn't be a selling point, we shouldn't constantly be reminded about it and it shouldn't take over the plot.
It should exist. In the world. As natural as blinking.
My best example of this is the NieR series.
NieR Replicant (and Gestalt) have 3 main characters. The player, a male victim of grooming and child predatation, with real trauma.
Emil, a gay guy who is in love with the player.
Kainé, an intersex hussy.
All three of them should be the biggest Woke flags imaginable, and yet you NEVER see anyone talking about them. Championing their identity.
Because it ISN'T their identity. It's just part of who they are. As much a part of them as their arms. It isn't shoved in our faces. It isn't constantly called back to. It's just part of them.
And my love for NieR kinda... sparked this renewed interest, which then evolved into what you see here.
So stay tuned.
No idea how long this will take, I'm trying to take my time with it.
Seen a lot of pro-AI people clowning on this lately, and maybe it's my art background, but… this isn't that crazy.
Assuming the industry standard of animating on 2s, that's roughly $21 per frame. And $21 for a single fully coloured, shaded drawing is on the LOW end. That's before you factor in that every frame has to flow naturally into the next, or the skill it takes to pull off smear frames.
I don't think people realise how cheap $250/s actually is.
Hand-drawn animation like this is a luxury. It was never meant for the average person who just wants to see their OC move. People will use AI to animate their characters (heck, that's what I do) because they can't drop that kind of money. But this product was never aimed at us.
It's like getting mad at designer brands for charging thousands for a shirt or bag. They were never marketing to us.
The real market here is mid-to-large vtubers and YouTube channels, people with the budget for extra production value. Not your average Joe Schmoe.
Oh, yeah. Might as well share the "original" 1.5 minute version I scrapped too.
It probably works better for the failed escape trick idea I was going for.
I think I opted for the curtains to allow for more pose changes without needing to show how she goes from one pose to the next, but I never ended up taking advantage of it.
I'm semi-unscrapping the Magic Act. I'm still not gonna bother adding sound effects or voices, but enough moots have said they thought it was worth sharing that I might as well just share it.
I tossed some Jumping Flash music over it to at least hide the awkward silence, though.

I have a lot of issues with this, which is why I originally didn't want to post it.
It's stiff, inconsistent, several elements came out weird (like the motionless bees), the audio gets borked VERY QUICKLY (Thanks, Motion Context!) and the concept loses its luster pretty fast.
Consider this less of a fully realized concept and more of a training piece, because I did learn a lot that I'll hopefully be able to use in my next project.
I have made this magical stage performance video twice now, and I'm still not happy with it.
The first one was about a minute and a half, the second one is over 4 minutes long and... I'm just not feeling it?
Maybe I'll cut them up a bit and release them as a multi-part series?

You won't believe what Britain just did.
Police ARRESTED a 15 year old boy at his house.
The suspected crime?
He had criticized and ridiculed a politician on social media.
Orwellian Britain is arresting children for criticizing politicians on the internet now.
Remember, around 12.000 people are arrested every year in Britain for social media posts and other electronic communications.
Britain is not a free country anymore.
Alright, I'll break the mold.
My biggest impact on the internet isn't even on twitter.
I made a bunch of pokemon themed reaction images for /vp/ on 4chan way back in the day, and to this day I still see them pop up in random places.
Most random place I've seen one pop up in was a VRChat models action menu.
Getting views on twitter is nice, but finding my art popping up in random places online 10+ years after I drew it is a whole different feeling.
Here's a thread of all of the stuff I can find on my PC, let me know if you've seen any of it before.
