All we want is a fit Frankie de Jong

I still don't believe people watch this and call Ronaldo the greatest

Whenever you hear the fans in Camp Nou clap before Messi takes a free kick just know you've conceded a goal

I have been avoiding this conversation about Rodri's negative influence on Hansi Flick's Barcelona style of play but I think I have to talk about it now. If y'all recall the 2019/2020 season when Hansi Flick won the UCL with Bayern Munich against PSG, if you watched how they played against PSG in the finals, you would understand Flick strength. If you also recall, Flick was the assistant coach to Joachim Löw who won the 2014 world cup defeating Brazil 7-1 in the semi finals. Flick has always been exposed to direct football, and that's his strength. He is not a "possession gimmick". I also got a report that Rodri has taken over the leadership in the dressing room which was originally owned by Raphinha. This influence is based on his achievements and it's understandable. I won't blame Flick for listening or being influenced by Rodri's opinion, but here's the thing, Rodri is not the coach. He is a player and must adapt to the new system if he wants to be a part of the team. This is not Manchester City, this is Barcelona. And if you're a Barcelona player, you must adapt, not telling the team how to play.
