Crazy that two teams on the bottom row have WS championships during this period, while 3 teams in the second row have not.

The Rockies were 106 games over .500 at home from 2000 through 2025, and 513 games under on the road. No other team in baseball has a home and road split close to that.

Regardless of the outcome, one player has already won a World Series ring. Jake Woodford pitched 23.1 innings for the Brewers this year, got DFA's and later signed with the Rays, pitching 1.1 innings late in the year

The 7-year, $245,000,000 deal between the Angels and Anthony Rendon is finally over (although the Angels still owe him more than $30 million). During this time, Rendon played 257 games and missed 877 games.

If this no call were on Arch Manning, it would be the top story on every sports network.

Nolan Ryan came to Anaheim in a trade for Jim Fregosi in December 1971. The Mets got their shortstop and moved him to third base. Ryan threw four no hitters for the Angels and struck out 383 batters in 1973, a modern record that has stood for more than 50 years. Fregosi was gone from New York by the middle of 1973. Among the best Angels ever, Ryan ranks second and Fregosi third, right behind him. Who's number one among the Angels for you?
