It feels like rappers who write with a more simplistic approach are loving this content vs wordplay debate

I feel like I’m a Jedi Master of wordplay so I can speak on this. Those of us who have mastered complex rhyming can also create simple content... so we can do what they do but can they do what we do?

Mac Miller was kickin incredibly dope shit when Ariana Grande was still a dumb Nickelodeon actress. Fuck anyone who ever referred to Mac Miller as Ariana’s ex.

Maybe a lot of today’s music journalists don’t know what good rap is.. I was taught that if you don’t know what your talking about just shut the fuck up.

Em’s rappin and songwriting is top tier on this album. I see music journalists acting like a rapper dissin his critics is new as if Pac, Cube, Jay and many more didn’t do it. The “bitter” rapper narrative they’re pushing is lame.
