Meet Jerry, our latest rescue ❤ Jerry was abandoned and left to stave to death 😞 He's suffered some kind of injury to his hind legs/hips which is forcing him to walk on his front legs, but we do see movement in the back legs, so hopefully it can be fixed, or at least improved🤞🏻 He's been at the vets clinic in the North for a week receiving intensive care. He didn't eat for the first couple of days, which was quite worrying, so I sent him blended chicken liver with vegetables... He loves it! 😁😍 It was such a relief to see him tucking into some food and now he's eating every meal he's building some strength 💪😊 He's had blood tests which reveal he has anaemia/blood parasites also some liver damage, but the vet said he can recover, so that's a little less worrying. Once he gets home we'll continue to build him up until he's strong enough to make the journey to the South, where he can be X-rayed to see what the problem is.
