Paolo on his injury
- Expects to miss 4 weeks but hopes to come back sooner depending on how treatment and rehab go 🙏
Magic lost the possession battle tonight.
22 ORebs vs our 8 + 18 points off our turnovers
Half court defense looked good, but we gotta box out and protect the ball.
I get the reactions but it’s still only 2 games in no matter how you feel.
Some clips from last nights defensive breakdowns. Need to be better on this side of the floor
- PB needed to rotate to Daniels under the rim
- Tristan over helped leaving a career 38% shooter open
- DB needed to tag JJ
- Miscommunication —> wide open 3

PSA to Magic Fans
Not everything is the coaches fault. His job is to run a good offensive/defensive system, and set the team up for success.
I’ve seen too many casual fans constantly blame their coach after an L.
Seen it for OKC, NYK, BOS, GSW
No team has won all 82 lol
GAME 1 - Matchups (could be wrong)
CJ - Franz
NAW - Bane
Dyson - Suggs
JJJ - Paolo
Onyeka - WCJ
Communicate on defense 🔑

Lets get our first dub 🔥
Just my two cents on the whole injury situation. In perspective, we really just need someone to hold it down until Penda gets back.
I don’t think Franz and Jase’s injuries are too serious, and there’s a solid chance they play Wednesday. + AB should be back too.
Good visual breakdown from the first pre season game on how the Magic are running their offense
Can’t wait for this to flow even better throughout the season

I know it’s the 1st game of pre season but that offense was looking CRISP.
Re-spacing and ball movement looked good
Different screening actions
Shot quality ✅
Defensive intensity looked great
Everything will sharpen up as the season progresses.
Good win @iam_OmariJones shout out to the Magic and coach for showing up to support🔥
I’m loving these clips 🔥
More non contact offensive drills + defensive drills

Franz ahead of camp:
• Sweeney called him weekly this summer
• Says Sweeney is direct, honest & will bring a lot of changes
• Believes the adjustment can help the team grow
• Calf strain likely stemmed from his previous ankle injury
• Says mental rest helped his recovery
New for @orlandosports: #Magic forward Franz Wagner is excited about working with new Orlando coach Sean Sweeney:
“It’s going to be some change and some adjustments for us, how we’re being coached, and that’s where growth comes in,” Wagner said.
