Anyone know anything about this lad? He takes control from Wilson I’m assuming?

Fucking hell, Wissa. He’s fucking brutal 🤣

What’s happened there? Regardless of how forceful it is or isnt, he’s slung out an elbow and that’s a red card

Great save from Horni, that ball was moving. Would like to see Steur come on and try to tighten up this midfield a bit.

They look done now. Keep going at them. There’s more goals in this for us if we keep attacking
32
Brilliant goal. Fuck me this is miles away from the first half. What a finish from Barnes

We have the reverse NUFC of last season. We’re now much better in the second half than the first.

Ah he’s offside
39
Fucking get in, that’s a great goal. Much more like it, this
37
Well that’s came out of nowhere. Fair play big willy, great ball from Murphy as well

I think if I could watch NUFC and there was a clear idea of what we were *trying* to do, but it was just obvious we didn’t have the players to execute it, I’d honestly be a lot more relaxed. Instead however, I’m absolutely clueless as to what the manager is attempting. Worrying.

This is some of the worst football I can remember us playing for a long, long time. Comfortably the worst football we’ve played post takeover. Palace look dire as well, it’s just an embarrassing lack of quality.

Is the plan just to let Barnes have pot shots from around the box? Every single one has been blocked so far I think.

Just cross the fucking ball into the box. It’s windy and it would be nice to have an effort on goal.

It’s mad how it doesn’t matter who we’re playing or their level of ability, two passes through the middle is all that’s required to see the ball at the feet of the opposition striker. Constantly.

It’s difficult to be really positive when you look at that lineup, because for where we are and where we’d like to be, it’s piss poor. We should be getting something from today and hopefully Steur sees minutes off the bench, though.
Your starting XI locked in for Palace 🔐

These are the most enjoyable thing about NUFC at the minute, I’ll be honest.
WE NEED A HERO 🙏 IT'S MATCHDAYYYY! 🐓⚔️

So last week he answered a question asking why Steur wasn’t playing in quite a sarcastic way and now, he’s implied fans who don’t understand him sticking Burn up top are stupid. Smooth talking when he first came in, but it sounds like he’s feeling the pressure already.
Matthias Jaissle has explained why he put Dan Burn up front 👀 🔊 Listen: bbc.in/4yUI3ai #NUFC | @Raisbeck10

Can anyone give me a coherent reason as to why he hooked Fernandez Pardo? Kept him on for full 90’s when he was playing up front and looked entirely ineffective but today, he was a lot more involved out wide. So why bring him off but leave Wissa on?

We’ve got 3 home games before the mackems rock up to SJP. One of them is against Arsenal. If we lose that derby, we’ve then got City, Chelsea and Brentford in our following 5. We could conceivably only pick up another 7/8 points between now and Xmas. Fucking grim.
