#rinafire @SBCOUNTYFIRE Dozer 2 helping cut some line around the perimeter of the fire. Dozer 2 and crew were in Wrightwood all weekend helping with the @WrightwoodFSC Green Waste and pine needle event until a fire broke out in Phelan and the was sent to this fire.

Did I just hear that correctly? @spencerpratt said his deputy mayor would be @firechiefanf Robert Garcia? Now that would be a great WIN for the City of LA and a huge loss for the ANF and the USFS. The Chief is widely respected as an experienced & great leader and man of action.

HEADS UP!!! Dangerous weather this week!!! Take the time now to prepare and NEVER drive through flooded roadways!!!
Dangerous floods, rockslides, & mudslides across Southwest California are likely on Christmas eve and day. The areas with the highest risk for life-threatening floods and landslides are outlined from southeast Santa Barbara County through Central Ventura County extending through Central Los Angeles County. These areas include the San Fernando Valley, Downtown LA, Simi Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Conejo Valley, San Gabriel Valley, Santa Paula, Altadena, Glendora and areas in between. However, dangerous flooding and landslides are also expected outside of the outlined area. NEVER DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADS and Follow directions from Emergency Management and Law Enforcement. Take precautions if in an area susceptible to floods by having multiple ways to receive reliable notifications, and be aware that it will take less and less rain for there to be more and more impacts as the week progresses.
