I feel like the weirdness towards Angel is based on two things. One people’s representation sucks so they aren’t getting them the right deals. Most of these women could be very marketable. Two I think some feel they are owed some of what Angel has but she’s one of one.

Angel was central to the offense that built Atlanta’s 2-1 lead. Then, out of nowhere, Karl Smesko reduced her role in two straight losses. He let the guards take 50 shots while Angel, Naz and DB shot just 15. He abandoned what worked and is coaching this team out of a ring.

I think the issue is that the guards start looking Angel off early and that hurts her confidence then it just goes downhill from there. Karl lets his team play hero ball instead of running so actual offense. He can only draw up out of bounds plays 🗿

All season I’ve said the guards play low IQ hoops and it’s doesn’t help they don’t run any offensive that gets anyone easy looks. The 5 out offense fucking sucks.
