Why is the file not processed yet?

IRCC REP 2019-2470 - The spouse of a student has an open work permit. It says under Remarks that the work permit is only valid if the student is studying. Does the spouse have to stop working if the student stops studying?
Answer - No. The work permit is valid until it expires.
