2016 I was RB coach living in a dorm making 600 dollars a month, at a D2, we lined fields washed uniforms. The dream of being a big time college coach look deferred but with prayer & fasting. Got a call at end of season be OC at Howard went to making 100k+ & the rest is HIStory!

In 2013 I was HS HFB in Vallejo Ca. I was PE teacher, & tasked with trying to turn 7 players in 1st football meeting into a Jv:Varsity football team. We went to playoffs year 1, I made 38k. My office was a tiny closet space in boys locker room. Jeremiah 29:11-13 Chase the Dream!

Coach Beam didn’t just coach football — he changed lives.
He saw potential in people before they saw it in themselves, and he pushed generations to rise above every challenge.
His legacy lives in every life he lifted. Fly high, Coach.

While this page has not been active in some time, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the tragedy that has hit the Laney Community College community. Coach Beam is in our thoughts. As of late last night, Coach Beam is still fighting.

Being broke, getting hurt, hearing NO, having a child, losing a loved one, going through heartbreak, shouldn’t stop you from striving toward excellence everyday. You can pause & even pivot but you can’t stop pushing forward! Winners keep going!
