If stupidity was a person that would be you. How can this basic escape you yet you claim to be graduate? Go back to the 'OAU' you schooled and collect change cos it's obvious your education no complete.
If you compare what Nigeria earns to it's expenditures you will see that Nigeria has a serious revenue problem so we don't have any money we just have leaders that are not critical enough to tell themselves the truth.
The president doesn't control what is allocated to the Legislative arm of the government, whatever is allocated to them is what the constitution says they should get. If the president doesn't sign it he will be committing an impeachable offence.

I actually know and lived this story 😆 🤣
It was a similar thing from our end in ekoro junction through captain, alaro and omoroga then, my mom had to use her connect has a snr lagos state civil servant to grade the road and install nepa poles for power. Thanks for sharing.
I'm not excusing the excesses of the government o! Nigeria government needs to seriously needs to cut down the cost of governance but are we ready for that? That's another topic entirely.
Let me break it down for you.
1. The executive doesn't have control over how much is allocated to the national assembly and you can't do anything about it until the constitution is amended.
2. The other items are one offs you can't to use to solve recurrent expenditures.
Let me indulge for the sake of knowledge, add everything you just mentioned together and compare it to how much is needed to run the critical sectors of this country and you will understand what I'm saying hence why I included the caveat in that my reply.

How much oil are you producing compared to your population??
NB: even if a dime of your oil money is not looted it is not even enough not to talk of the burden of leadership and citizens all looking cut a piece of the cake at any given opportunity.
But you expect the FG schools to provide that same standard with free tuition abi?? pls do the world a favour do not reproduce, the world can not afford the burden of your replication.
When I say you are stupid it's not as insult it a statement of fact.
Peter Obi left office in 2014 and as of that time ANSU school fees range between 180k to 230k while the school fees in LASU as that same 2014 stays at 25k flat.
You are like a 100 levels below stupid. You don't even have a point to start with, you justify high fees in one institution and condemn it another in the same country under same economic circumstances, you see how daft you sound??

I agree with u
In advance countries like @america and uk and Canada
The govt makes education free
Nothing like student loan
Everyone goes to school from infant to tertiary institutions for free
It’s only in Nigeria the government gives loan that they will collect back

What’s the percentage of people that benefitted and what’s the percentage of people living in Nigeria
Isnt that money a loan that would be paid back?
Y’all keep pestering on NELFUND
of all the situations Nigeria is suffering from.
If out of 100, he only achieved one ‘Nelfund’ it’s equivalent to zero
I come from a very privileged background and I know bad it feels seeing friends struggle to pay school fees during my undergraduate days infact some of us have to come together and crowdund to be able to keep some of our friends in school.
This NELFUND criticism is premium bs.
This guys don't criticise out of objectivity they do just because they don't like the person in power.
This what politics can do to an intellectual brain, can't believe this the same Prof. Pat Utomi of LBS.
Norway uses its oil wealth to support public services, including education. Young Norwegian students can attend public universities without tuition fees, while children benefit from free public primary and secondary education. Nigeria is also an oil-producing country, we should borrow a leaf from Norway and turn our oil wealth into better schools, affordable university education, and opportunities for young people.
Our natural resources should improve the lives of our people, not just enrich a few, stop defending the politicians who are impoverishing you with their inhumane policies.
