A word here: a person cannot be charged with statutory rape because that is not a criminal offence which exists in Jamaica.
So that charge is just not an option. It doesn’t exist.

The truth is, people are generally too cavalier and thoughtless about the reputation of others.
Mayyybe it would’ve worked out better for giftme (PR wise. And that’s still to be determined) if they flooded social media with the correct information n debunk the scam argument
But I cannot knock them for protecting their reputation and shutting that down quick. Show ppl dem serious n hopefully discourage similar statements. Theyve done tht AND post the correct info
Cuz I thought it was a reaction to the main video I see up now where the creator is just explaining how it works and it confused me for that reason (figured I might be missing something but didn’t know what) but it was more than that n ppl were saying stuff like “me did ago get it but me nah bada” … yhhh
So anyways I see what ppl saying abt not being so aggressive against one person etc etc but at the moment, what they’re doing seems like the right move to me personally
N for me, I wasn’t rlly interested in their set up. I tried it and decided to leave it alone. I knew I never had ALL the info on how it worked (with bonus points etc etc) but I simply never cared to find out. Was mostly indifferent. Since this whole issue and the info is more in my face n ting, I’m actually more inclined to use them for certain things. So hey 🤷🏾♀️
