Rui Pinto could have reached out to Manchester City officials and cut a deal with them, get paid a fortune and we'll watch City will dominate till the end of time but leaked it. He's done more for football than FIFA, UEFA, and the Premier League. I hope he doesn't regret doing that.
On Wednesday, just hours after the verdict officially confirming Manchester City’s guilt, the Commission responsible for Portugal's witness protection programme informed me of its decision to terminate my participation in the programme and withdraw my police protection, thereby knowingly placing me in a life-threatening situation. Given these circumstances, I have no alternative but to relocate, within the next few days, to an undisclosed location for an indefinite period of time, due to the multiple death threats I have received and the serious risk of an assassination attempt against me. For this reason, I have just set up a GoFundMe campaign and I am asking for everyone's support to help me survive this serious situation created by the Portuguese State, which, as I have already stated, has knowingly decided to place my life at risk. I would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thanks to everyone who continues to support Football Leaks, and I can give everyone one guarantee: the fight will most certainly continue! gofundme.com/f/help-save-rui…

Carrick is leaving with honor, not shame. He has done his best as a coach, the players didn't believe in him in the end. Until all these players are out of the club, no one will be able to manage them

wow, wow! so messi fans never really loved lamine yamal? 😭💀 was it fake love all this while? All over my timeline, Barcelona fans are dragging Yamal after the El Clásico defeat. The same people who were comparing him to Messi and calling him the future of football are suddenly turning against him. I’m certain Yamal hasn’t even reached his full potential yet, but apparently, the love disappears the moment he has a bad game. So the Messi comparisons were only sweet when Yamal was winning? Football fans are genuinely ruthless. 🤯🔥

Lmao, joke of an award. Killian Mbappe allegedly won the Ballon d'Or for yesterday's performance even though the voting period has passed for the award. Mbappé should win the Gerd Müller award, and Harry Kane even outscored him. Mbappé shouldn't be in the Ballon d'Or top 3; the award is a joke.

Would Unai Emery ditch Villa for Man United right now? 🔴 I’ve been reading around this one all morning - @TEAMtalk first reported United did background checks on Emery last season and that Jason Wilcox is a huge admirer, but that a mid-season move would be extremely difficult. Sky Sports have now backed that up saying Emery remains committed to the Villa project. Gabriel Agbonlahor doubts Emery would leave, while Jamie Carragher believes the chance to manage a club as big as United and pursue Champions League glory could tempt him. For me, personally - I don't see it happening. What Emery has built at Villa is special, he’s got Champions League football, a Europa League trophy last season, total control. Why trade that for the chaos at Old Trafford right now? Would Emery be the right man to rebuild Manchester United, or should the club look elsewhere?

While INEOS are contemplating leaving along with Carrick and Berrada, let's rid United of the Glazers as well.

Sacking Carrick won't fix anything if INEOS, the Glazers and this board keep making the same stupid decisions. • Not signing Baleba in January. • Sacking Amorim. • Made Carrick permanent in May. • Signing Santos and Tielemans. • Keeping Carrick this long. • And the next manager could be another mistake. How much longer are we supposed to accept this mediocrity?

Ronald Araújo is looking like one of Liverpool’s signings of the season. Since Trent Alexander-Arnold left, right-back has been a problem, but Araújo has brought energy, hard work, passion and defensive solidity to that position. Liverpool need to make his move permanent. He has been outstanding all season, and I struggle to see any Liverpool fan who isn't impressed with him.

Barcelona will never win the Champions League with Hansi Flick’s rigid high-line system. Against elite teams like PSG, that defence will always be exposed. Flick’s biggest weakness is his refusal to adapt his tactics to different opponents. Until he learns to adjust, Barcelona can kiss their Champions League ambitions goodbye.

Michael Carrick needs to be sacked. People claiming Manchester United’s problems aren’t coaching-related are delusional. Yes, the club has deeper issues and Carrick wasn’t properly backed, but this squad isn’t bad enough to be flirting with relegation. This is a team that finished third last season. There’s no identity, no style of play and no tactical direction. Carrick simply isn’t good enough. Sack him.

Kylian Mbappé didn’t win a single trophy last season. Harry Kane didn’t win a Player of the Tournament award in any competition and wasn’t even Bayern’s best player. Lamine Yamal won it all. La Liga’s Best Player, Laliga champion, and let’s not forget the World Cup, where he also won two MOTM awards. For me, the Ballon d’Or belongs to one player and one player only.
Mbappé, Kane and Lamine are all confirmed attending the Ballon d’Or ceremony today in London. ✨ Who’s your winner? 🫵🏼 Download the @BetwayScores app: betway-scores.onelink.me/YCO… ⚽️📲

Spot on, it's time for us to look beyond the manager and address the real issues.

Kompany got Burnley relegated. He is now dominating the Bundesliga with Bayern and competing in the Champions League. Chivu barely had any senior managerial experience before taking over at Inter. He won the Scudetto in his first season. Both coaches had comparable managerial experience to Michael Carrick when they got those jobs. At Bayern or Inter, the manager is part of a functioning football structure, where recruitment, squad building and coaching are connected whereas at United, the manager is expected to fix everything including the failure of Berrada and Wilcox. Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim arrived at United as two of the hottest managers in European and failed due to how poor the club is run. Now Carrick has been failed by the same structure. You could take two random kids off the streets of Manchester and they would do a better job than Berrada and Wilcox have managed as CEO and Sporting Director so far.

Good people still exist My phone fell from my pocket while riding to work this morning, I noticed it when I’ve already gotten to work in Wuse from Gwagwalada, immediately I used a colleague phone to call and somebody picked the call, I told the lady it’s my phone and it fell off so I’m pleading with her to help me, she immediately told me to stop pleading and come to SDP junction, I immediately hit the road back to Gwagwalada and when I got to SDP with my colleague, we called and she picked, we described ourselves, she came to us and gave me my phone back I was touched that I transferred 50k to the woman instantly for her kindness Good people still exist and I met one today
