The irrepressible Bdr Rob Long, he grapples by touch due to an IED blast in Afghanistan, but he still competes, and beats, able bodied opponents - an absolute legend and a shining example of what can be achieved when you refuse to be beaten 🥋🥋🇬🇧🇬🇧

Due to having my optic nerves severed a brain chip connected to an artificial eye is likely the only hope I have of regaining sight in my lifetime. It’s good to read of such big players entering the race for a viable brain chip interface.

LOOK AT HIS FEET This man is an exceptional human being! His daughter has an extremly rare genetic disease and he is trying to raise money for life altering gene therapy by matching 700 miles from Lands End to Edinburgh carrying 25kg... and bare foot!

Our heartfelt condolences to the loved ones of LCpl Brodie Gillon, who was repatriated yesterday. Her service and her sacrifice has not featured anywhere near as strongly in the media as it should have done, but you’re in the hearts and minds of everyone that wears a uniform.

Meet Captain Leopold McLaglen the 1914 JiuJitsu & Wrestling world champion and the pioneer that brought the arts to the @BritishArmy ...... he’d be a proud man today seeing how far the team training under fellow legend @rogergracie has come #army #british #bjj #legend #jiujitsu – at Whitchurch, England

@soldier_magazine covering our last event. Jiu-Jitsu is the youngest, yet by far and away the largest martial art in the Army. Yet so many soldiers don't know how, when and where they can train - articles like this are a massive help #British #ARMY #bjj #jiujitsu #stormkimonos
