Gojo:
>Says he's going to go all-out before the fight;
>Sustains several life-ending injuries and is cornered throughout 90% of the match;
>Dies;
>Says his opponent was holding back since the start and he would've lost even without the advantage.
Gojo fans: "He was stronger than Sukuna".
Gege watching people unironically continue to put Gojo as the strongest 2 years after his series ended:
Anytime anyone thinks “Yeah, Sukuna is fucked. He's definitely giving it his all this time” he just does shit like this.
All bruised up and burnt after fighting Gojo? Instant full-body heal.
Lost his arms and heart? Hardly broke a sweat.
JACOB'S LADDER? Just climb it.
Nobody would win a trial against Higuruma, because his whole technique is built on the Japanese Judicial System which has a 99% conviction rate.
Add onto that the fact that he's a lawyer and the only one holding proof and you'll realize that all you can rely on is close combat.
No shounen battle series in history has existed without slander. Jujutsu Kaisen wouldn't be Jujutsu Kaisen in this world.
Ignoring the whole Gojo holding back idea, but do you know how crazy you have to be to say that you know better what a fictional character is subconsciously thinking and that the author made them say things you think they wouldn't say?
Is that not genuinely insane?
Hakai has been shown being deflect by characters like Frieza, which makes it fundamentally different to Sukuna's slash.
It erases existence, true, but only if the target is weak enough. It's an attack that can be tanked.
WCS cuts whatever resides in the space it targets, no exceptions.
