Watch the APM Vice Presidential Candidate, Lawal Musa Daura, on Sunrise Daily this morning! 🔥
He spoke about why he joined APM, why the Reset Agenda is both possible and necessary, and why the APC can be defeated in 2027.
The Reset is possible.

Saying physical stamina doesn’t matter in governance is a blatant lie. In a country like Nigeria, where almost everything is falling apart, leadership requires a sound mind, sound judgment, and the physical energy to do the job. We need all three.

Oyo State currently has 3 fully state-owned universities under Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
He has also completed a university campus from the ground up and connected it to the main campus with a 77km road.

By the way, Seyi Makinde has stood his ground on the NLNG dividends, challenged the FG to publish the records, and repeated his claims to their faces.
Remember Bayo’s long epistle? They thought a little intimidation would make him fold.
Now, where is the FG? Publish it now 😏

He didn’t just stand with the protesters; he took steps to protect them. By deploying Operation Burst to safeguard their safety, he showed that leadership means protecting the people, even when they are exercising their right to protest.
On this day 2020 (ENDSARS PROTEST)
Governor Makinde was the only Governor in Nigeria identified with the Endsars protesters.
He was moving round to support and add his voice to the ENDSARS MOTION.
This was one major shift in his political profile, he became the man of the people from 2020 and till date, THE PEOPLE OF OYO STATE (Like he usually address his people) love him till.

Why are we paying so much for fuel? Where are the PMS price templates? What exactly determines the pump price, and where is the price ceiling?
Publish the templates. Explain the pricing.

The Presidency is still avoiding the real issue. How much in NLNG dividends is available for distribution, what amount is due to each state, and what is the status of the funds?
If Governor Makinde’s figures are wrong, publish the actual figures and show Nigerians the records.
STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT
PRESIDENCY RESPONDS TO GOVERNOR MAKINDE’S CLAIM ON NLNG DIVIDENDS
The Presidency wishes to clarify Governor Seyi Makinde’s claim that the Federal Government is withholding ₦250 billion in NLNG dividends for each state of the Federation.
At the 2027 Budget Stakeholders’ Consultative Engagement held at the Olola Ogunlana Hall, International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, on Friday, Makinde claimed the funds would not be released until after the 2027 elections. He further claimed that the Federal Government had spent the money.
“Each state was supposed to get ₦250 billion. We had already identified projects that would expand Oyo State’s economy. But they have now said the money will not be paid until after the election. Is the election more important than the people of Nigeria?” the governor said.
Makinde's latest claim that the Federal Government is withholding the NLNG dividend windfall is false and should be disregarded.
Here are the facts the public should know about how the Federation Account is managed and how money is shared among the three tiers of government. Even as a one-off distribution, ₦250 billion to each of the 36 states amounts to ₦9.0 trillion, excluding the Federal Government, the FCT, and the 774 local councils.
Under the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) formula, states receive 26.72% of the distributable Federation Account revenue. For the states’ share alone to reach ₦9 trillion, total NLNG dividends paid into the Federation Account would have to exceed ₦33.68 trillion (about $25 billion) in a single declaration.
NLNG has never paid $25 billion in dividends to the Federation Account in a single payout.
NLNG and Historical Dividend Context:
NLNG has paid approximately $21.5 billion in dividends to the Federation over the last 25 years, with less than $3 billion realised since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assumed office.
Therefore, any claim that a single payout exceeds the company’s entire lifetime distribution to the Federation—and is being withheld—defies basic logic and economic reality.
We expect Governor Makinde to be more measured in his public conduct and utterances. Since he embarked on his presidential bid, he has chosen to play politics by making misleading claims rather than presenting verifiable facts. Indeed, he has turned false, unguarded statements and claims into an art form.
He once described the huge financial flow from the federation account to states, including Oyo, as 'voodoo'.
Under Nigerian law, Governor Makinde is free to pursue his presidential ambition. He should desist from making falsehoods and disinformation the hallmarks of his campaign.
We urge the public to disregard these unfounded claims, which serve only to mislead citizens and stoke needless disaffection against the Federal authorities.

Tomorrow, my mother, Chief Mrs Wulemot Adewunmi Ibitoye (née Adeyemo), will be elevated from Otun Iyalode to Iyalode of Olorunda Abàá.
My late grandfather Chief Sunmonu Adeshina Adeyemo served as Baale of Olorunda Abàá from the 1960s until his death in 1978.
He was also the first President of the Grade C Customary Court, Olorunda Abàá.
A wealthy cocoa merchant and community leader, he donated the land on which Akobo Police Station was built.
And together with the father of the late Chief N. O. Idowu and a few friends cleared the bush from Olorunda Abàá to Idi-Ape Iwo Road, creating a path that made motorable access possible.
As his only daughter, My mother embodies the strength, courage and leadership of a remarkable man.
Seeing her continue this legacy fills me with immense pride.
Her father’s legacy lives on through her.
Wulemotu Ajike, Idaji Lagelu ti won n pe ni eeyan kan!
Congratulations to my mother
May her reign bring honour, peace and progress to Olorunda Abàá 🙏.
Thank you @Arugboboisi_Sam for this ❤️

Today, I joined Governor Seyi Makinde and other stakeholders for the commissioning of the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA) headquarters and the unveiling of its maiden magazine in Ibadan.
For me, this occasion is particularly significant because the Oyo State House of Assembly passed the OYRLEA Bill into law on 13th February, 2024.
Seeing this legislation translate into a stronger institution reinforces my belief that the true value of lawmaking lies in its impact on the lives of our people.
I commend Governor Makinde for this milestone and urge OYRLEA to uphold professionalism, fairness, transparency and accountability in discharging its mandate.
As a legislature, we remain committed to strengthening institutions that promote the rule of law, protect citizens' rights and advance good governance.
My commitment remains clear: building a society where the law is respected and governance delivers meaningful benefits to our people.

We just completed training Nerve-1, our first AI model built entirely from scratch.
Nerve-1 is a lightweight, ~34M-parameter model trained on over 23 billion tokens.
It’s designed for intelligent routing, deciding how much reasoning effort a task requires and directing it to the most suitable AI model.
It runs entirely on regular CPUs, making routing decisions in milliseconds. We estimate it could reduce our inference costs by at least 30%.

Every engagement I have had across Oyo State is an opportunity to understand the needs and aspirations of our communities. I do more than listen; I take notes, because these conversations must inform the policies and decisions that shape the future of our state.
From farmers and traders to our youths and creatives, governance must reflect the everyday realities of those it serves.
Our people must not only be heard; their voices must help shape the decisions that affect their lives. That is what Omituntun 3.0 stands for: listening, understanding and responsive governance.
We will continue to have these meaningful conversations, turn insights into action, and work together to keep Oyo State moving forward.
