C3.8 flare in AR 12816, now close to central meridian. EUV wave is discernible in straight intensity (non-difference) images. This is an animation of SUVI images. Monitor coronagraph data to find an Earth-directed CME. You may need to prepare for its arrival around 25-26 April.

Another solar cycle 25 region at ~S24. Over the past weeks, there have been a number of similar regions, that is, with marginal sunspots that did not last long. But this one may be promoted to AR 12766. These feeble regions may indicate the beginning of a new cycle.
