All ready for warmup. First home game for the Toronto Rock with fans present in quite a while. Nicky is really stoked to be able to hang out with the guys again. They really make him feel at home and treat him like one of the team.

Nicky is feeling much more like his normal self today. He's steadier on his feet, better motor control, dizziness has almost resolved, and no pain. He had an MRI this morning that looked good and hoping to be discharged home this afternoon.

Update: Dr. Dirks came to see Nicky & let us know his MRI looks good w/ no residual tumour. He thinks Nicky is doing well considering he was operating near his brain stem & that he should feel better & more steady on his feet w/ time. Thx for all the love & support, everyone. ^LR

UPDATE: Dr. Dirks was able to remove all of the tumour, as well as a small one hiding behind the first. He doesn't think there's been any nerve damage & only slight damage to a cerebellar artery which he didn't think would cause deficits. Closing up now, then to the ICU. ❤️ ^LR

That’s awesome, thanks for sending. Great to see Nicky out there having fun with the team. I wore #37 to honour my friend Kyle Miller who also had a courageous fight with Cancer. He would be proud to see Nicky wearing his number. Give him my best, will always be in his corner
