SNK has published its FY2025 financial results: revenue increased, but losses widened significantly. For the fiscal year ending December 2025: • Revenue: ¥5.715 billion, up 10% • Operating loss: ¥19.901 billion, vs. ¥12.665 billion the previous year • Ordinary loss: ¥21.575 billion, vs. ¥12.048 billion • Net loss: ¥22.243 billion, vs. ¥12.964 billion SNK is also reportedly in a negative net worth position, despite an apparent capital reduction followed by a capital increase in late 2025. The fiscal year notably included the release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, alongside SNK’s console/mobile game development, licensing and esports activities. After the end of the fiscal year, SNK also borrowed $40 million (¥6.358 billion) from its parent company, Electronic Gaming Development Company, at an interest rate of 7.28%, with the principal due to be repaid in a lump sum on October 5, 2029. Financially, the situation is therefore extremely weak: SNK generated only ¥5.7 billion in revenue while posting a ¥19.9 billion operating loss and a ¥22.2 billion net loss. Revenue is growing, but losses are growing much faster, and the company is currently dependent on continued financial support from its parent company to sustain this level of investment. #SNK #FatalFury #CityOfTheWolves
