I’m super bullish on WebMCP too. The web platform is the most capable and universal interface humanity has ever built. And now agents can directly see and interact with the same interface through WebMCP! Adding it to our docs was just the first step. 👀
Super bullish on WebMCP. Much like Tesla FSD meets the world where it is (streets, stoplights, potholes and all), agents *need* to ride the existing WWW infrastructure… WebMCP makes it more efficient. Some pretty unique wins too. e.g: Next.js dev pages could expose debugging tools directly to agents in the specific tab they’re testing, with page-specific context, instead of sifting through server logs. No separate MCP server to find and configure because the page directly exposes its own 'agent tools'. e.g: in this world 𝚏𝚡 + 𝚊𝚐𝚎𝚗𝚝-𝚋𝚛𝚘𝚠𝚜𝚎𝚛 is a complete web dev stack with zero loss in debugging depth

Blocking password paste is not security. It is pure security theatre that sabotages password managers and breeds weak passwords. From Mauritius Telecom to banking portals: why disabling paste harms real users while bots walk right in: jochen.kirstaetter.name/the-… #mauritius #web

Spoiler 👀 WebMCP tools are available in all of undocs docs! UnJS/H3/Nitro - any browser agent can easily navigate, search and read the docs 😎
You can now test your website WebMCP in the @ChromeDevTools 🤯

Over the years, in Vue, we have added a lot of dev only warnings at runtime to help developers With @antfu7 we want to improve these with structured diagnostics: enforcing good practices for errors and pretty print output that is actionable (agents autofix cheat code) Introducing nostics, errors worth reading!

I haven't been this excited building a thing for a VERY long time. Maybe even more excitement than when I was building Vite.

Today would have been Daniel Naroditsky’s 30th birthday. It’s still hard to believe he’s gone. I’m grateful for the memories, his brilliance, his humor, his kindness, and the impact he made on so many. His legacy will live on. Miss you, Danya.

Same in Vue for reference / comparison: - main setup code runs once - no need for `useEffectEvent` (tbh I don't understand why the React example needs it) - no need to manually specify effect dependency - no need for separate handling of prop change / unmount branches (compared to Remix 3) Mental model will be similar in other signal-based frameworks (Solid, Svelte 5) Personally I still think React is the hardest to reason about, Remix being the most explicit but too manual, signal-based reactivity hits the right balance.
ok bet: no wrapper, which is easier?

we hooked up GPT5 to @builderio and the results are… disappointing not planning to release it, we prefer to give our users a consistently good experience and stick to Claude models

We gotta tune the AI hype-fluencers out of the feed. It leads devs to think there's some AI silver bullet for coding. It doesn't exist. If I just use this MCP server, or run 20 subagents across terminals, or get the perfect rule crafted, only *then* will AI suddenly work! Nah. It's not that easy. Building great software takes foundational knowledge and care. There isn't one specific thing you can do to take the quality of AI generated code and make it perfect. Let me give you an example. If you ask "which MCP servers should I use?", have you first thought deeply about *why* that would even make the code generated better? Is it actually going to save you time? If the MCP is just speeding up copy/paste for you, sure that might help some, but it's not going to fix the poor instructions you gave the model. The model might connect and integrate data from 20 MCP servers only to build the wrong thing. Same thing with rules files. You know what makes great rules? Thinking deeply about your business requirements, system design, and personal preferences. It's kind of hard to outsource that. You can get inspiration from others and pick up some tips or suggestions, but this is a personal question for how *you* want to steer the model. A great rules file for an agent *can* make the quality better. And certain MCP servers *can* make pulling in the right context much easier, hooking into bigger firehoses of data where you're looking for the needle in a haystack. But you only figure this out using AI to build real things and finding real edge cases. Stay optimistic with a healthy dose of skepticism, my friends. These models and tools are *amazing*... and also software engineering is hard.
