6 weeks ago I was in Cali, Colombia. Colombians kept telling me South African talent is world-class, and the reason wasn’t football. It was The Polygamist. They called it the no1 series in Colombia, and it sat at number one there for 10 straight weeks. Nearly 28million views. Top ten in 62 countries. Netflix’s own co-CEO name-dropped it on an earnings call. Starring Gugu Gumede and S’dumo Mtshali. And here I am, a South African who hasn’t watched a single episode. Embarrassed and proud at the same time. Time to fix that…..I think we’ve got talent that is extremely undervalued+underpaid
When it comes to acting. We have no quality in this country. Zero quality. When you watch a Hollywood series or movie and immediately after that you watch a local content, it’s a massive gap in acting quality. What is this?

fucking your coworker is a catastrophic failure of self-control. Imagine having a whole life outside that building and still deciding to bring sexual nonsense into the place that pays your bills. Some of y’all are genuinely unserious

One of the most underrated luxuries is having an emergency and being able to deal with it without borrowing money, begging someone or sacrificing your basic needs. Being your own safety net changes everything.

I’m sick just reading this, bro was not exaggerating.
Went for dinner to reconcile with my ex since our break up and he told me he slept with someone and I told him I went on a date. He asked where and I said just spa and dinner. He put his fork down and said he feels sick. He didn’t touch his food or drink the rest of the night.

You have to abandon shame if you have real ambitions in life. Shame will cripple you before you ever have a chance at achieving anything. Leave your pride and your shame in the bin.
