Thought I would put this here as well seems as though it’s popping OFF on IG and YT shorts. Really hope we can come to some sort of agreement.
The proposed change to @Starlink’s Global Roam will increase the risk to global cruisers and remove the additional safety that cheap Internet provides.
We ask @Starlink to engage with sailors/cruisers mitigate this harm.

Having just sailed across the Atlantic Ocean, I am happy to say that out of my collection of over a dozen watches, this was without a second-thought the one I packed for the trip. Rugged, waterproof & always legible, there is no better choice for blue water sailing.

Anyone know why, after a big wind shift and a huge Port Tack advantage back up to the top gate, didn’t UK follow Yellow or Green, as opposed to doing Red and running Out of Bounds (before the race was abandoned).

1. The angle to 0-180 deg Port/Stb
(then it’s easier to compare)
2. ‘True Wind Dir’ to ‘Apparent Wind Dir’
(if not always, certainly for the upwind leg)
