Some will be surprised that it was I who wrote this, but it turns out no one hates an entire series or has a problem with it - we just don't like bad games, and MW4 is anything but.
Modern Warfare 4's daring campaign is a new highlight for Call of Duty, and it's already making tremendous strides on Steam. The game's only available to those who pre-ordered, but it's nevertheless one of the best-reviewed games in the franchise's recent history.

There is more Resident Evil in these 19 minutes than in the entirety of Cregger's film. Sure, the latter is a fine standalone movie, but it foregoes all the lore and narratives that make this universe unique and exciting to experience. Huge thanks to @chandlerriggs for making this, and I sure hope it resonates with the suits.

With the horrors of the occult sprinkled in, we get one of the finest games of 2026, whose fluidity and satisfying gameplay prove that the first-person perspective can, indeed, be used in every genre.

This scene from Valor Mortis reminded me of Dishonored a lot. Seems Antonov's works, at least subconsciously, continue to influence gaming aesthetics. The developers being Polish and familiar with brutalism makes me think it was intentional, though
Seeing some 6s and 7s for this game and I genuinely wonder if I played the same thing as they did. Enemy variety is cited as an issue and yet we saw Onimusha get showered with 10/10s despite having some of the most repetitive combat and enemies ever made

The irony of AAA megacorporations getting shafted by the same AI tools they've been drooling over for literal years. Can't wait for the lobbying to start against this, especially considering how major AI players have now rallied to legislate the tech (of course, all out of their goodwill and concern for humanity, not in an effort to outlaw locally-hosted tools)
Dozens of AI reverse-engineered and vibe coded AAA games can now be played in browsers for free, including GTA 5, Modern Warfare 2, and Halo CE. This new trend poses a tremendous risk to big publishers who trained the same tools that are now being used against them.
