36-year-old, British national of Bangladeshi ethnicity from Salford, former supply teacher Abusali Rahman has been jailed for six years after admitting to taking more than 100 upskirt photos of schoolgirls. Rahman targeted 13 girls across secondary schools in the North West between December 2023 and June 2025. His offending began with sexualised deepfake images before escalating to upskirting and voyeurism. He pleaded guilty to 21 offences. He was arrested after a parent discovered an image of their child in school uniform being circulated on social media.
