its honestly very likely that something similar to nyarlathotep is going on, or that we're dealing with a 'this' side/'other' side difference between the two of them. if wonder is indeed timelooping—as im honestly very doubtful theyd retcon their own lore—the past/future
imo, i dont think its about whether or not they will or wont keep it; if P2IS is remade exactly as is with no modern gameplay additions, it would stay. but as atlus is now i think its fair to be afraid of them potentially removing it if they added social links to the game
they wouldn't be getting rid of a jun romance route because there is no jun romance route in IS as we define them by modern standards. but if they were to remake P2 in its entirety and change the game to fit modern day standards it is a very real possibility
