Tar Heel Nation, we still got work to do… I’m extremely excited to be returning to UNC. After a lot of thought and prayer, I know exactly where I am meant to be. God is good! #goheels 🩵

We didn’t use him to his full potential 😂 Final line: 1-4, 1 R, 1 RBI at the plate. 1.1 IP | 0 H | 0 R | 1 BB | 73% strikes. #ProHeels

Last night, Knoxville lost their starting pitcher in the 1st inning with an injury. By the end of the game, they had used all of their available relievers. So in just a 4-run game, second basemen Alex Madera came in to record the final 4 outs on no hits, dirty jersey and all.

Not only can Madera stick it @ SS, he can also get it done w/ the bat. 8th best among #UDFA Senior/Graduate SS according to my #D1Baseball ratings. Solid contact hitter w/ above average decisions @ the dish. Ranks above average as a baserunner too

"There’s something to be said about North Carolina starting the same four in the infield each and every game this season, even more so when you consider that every player hit at least .315 with 40-plus RBIs." @fridaystarters offers more takeaways from the @DiamondHeels' 2025 ⤵️
