Some news! After almost 8 life-changing years, I’m leaving @triplej 💔 Feeling so emotional about farewelling a job I love and a team that have become lifelong mates. Triple j has taught me EVERYTHING I know and I’ve been so lucky to have been supported & invested in for so long

There's no one cause to the housing crisis, or one single solution - but we spoke to a lot of people for this series about what's driving the problem and how to solve it, including @SaulEslake @purplepingers @MChandlerMather @JulieCollinsMP, renters and public housing tenants. 🏚️

Big love to @MrDTJames and @SquigglyRick for the Quill nominations for their work with 7am.
Working with reporters like them, who are equally brilliant and caring, on these series is one of the two best thing about being at 7am.

Pork-barrelling isn’t illegal, but it's one of the dark arts of politics: governments spending money in seats they want to win.
Today, @KarenMMiddleton on the MP who is trying to make public spending more transparent.

This is a pretty big blow. GTM cancelled, Falls on a 'break', Laneway seeming to sell poorly. The boutique festival scene might be growing but we're basically left with one major festival a year. And who's to say Splendour isn't vulnerable to this kind of cancellation too?
Damn. This sucks. Feels like festivals can't even have an off year anymore. It's feast or famine, and kids in regional Australia are losing more of what they don't have enough of.
