I was struck by one detail. In the dozens of convocations I have addressed in India, I have noticed the fact that where even just 20% of the student body is female, more than 90% of the gold medallists and toppers are women. Unusually, however, today at @GreatLakes_MBA, which has a 25% female intake, 95% of this year’s gold medallists were men! Could India’s males be making a comeback, at least in management?!

Honoured to be chief guest today at the 21st Convocation of the GreatLakes Institute of Management in Mahabalipuram. I delivered the keynote speech, handed out gold medals to high achievers, and presented certificates. It was a pleasure to return to the institution founded by the late Dr. Bala Balachandran, a professor at Chicago's Kellogg School of Management.
