Unrelated, but whenever I see someone dressed in black, all I can think of is Masha in The Seagull, who, on being asked why she always wears black, responds, "I'm in mourning for my life."

Hay una frase de George B Shaw que amo: "He decidido ser bueno sin el soborno del cielo".-
Binodini might be my favourite female protagonist's name in modern Indian literature. Tagore, after all.

I actually read a lot, I just don't talk about it. Simular situation with movies. I think more people should be like me.
All these moon pictures remind me of college, when a professor asked if we'd seen last night's particularly beautiful moon. I told him I hadn't. I live in downtown, and when you look up there's hardly any sky to speak of, only a crowded stretch of rooftops. We all laughed.
My mother has long, beautiful hair, and whenever I ask her how she came to have such lovely hair, she tells me her mother used to pray for it, just as she prays for mine. And yet, in a fit of inexplicable madness, I had mine cut short. She reproaches me for it every single day.
If any of you has seen Jane Austen Book Club, you'll remember Jocelyn reading, in a single night, all the books Grigg gives her hroughout the movie. That's the kind of reading I need right now, books handed to me by someone who wants me, and wants me to know the things they love.

Abandoning someone after making them fall in love with you, leaving them halfway through the journey, and never coming back… God has a different kind of karma written for people like that. 💔
