|@AlphaRecruits15 on BYU PWO commit Asher Young "Well number 1 he's quite the athlete , obviously he comes from the unbelievable lineage ... I'm super excited that BYU was able to get him locked down ... what I love about Aher is his versatility ... big strong hands, really physical, high points the ball ... I can't wait for him to get. off his mission so I can watch him at BYU." Listen: 960 AM Stream: espn960sports.com / ESPN 960 APP / Tune In APP / #ESPN960 #BYU #BYUFootball #GoCougs

|@AlphaRecruits15 on a player comparison for Asher Young. "When I look at him he's a mix of quite a few things ... as a far as his ball skills I would put him up there with the likes of Puka Nacua ... as far as ball skills and hands they are as high level as it comes ... as far as his route running he is super fast ... he's going to be a mismatch problem, you can put him outside, you can put him inside ... he is a special players." |@AlphaRecruits15 on the versatility of Asher Young. "It's just this overall movement, he's just a smooth operator, he's just able to get in and out of breaks ... he had 5 picks ... if you dig in and do a little bit of research he really didn't get a lot of reps, he was only able to get defensive reps about half way through the season so he was able to produce that much without that many reps." "I think Asher Young is a name that Byu needs to know .. he is going to be an impact PWO he has the talent of any scholarships player BYU brought in this year." "If it was me I would probably put him at Strong Safety ... the kid is super talented, anywhere you put him he is going to make plays ... I think he is going to trend as a strong safety or Outside Linebacker." "Obviously I would play him inside or outside, I think it depends on his speed and what BYU needs ... I like him at receiver but I don't like him at tight end, unless he was an off ball guy ... he's a mismatch problem ... it all depends on what ARod wants to do with his receivers." "I think there will be a lot of conversations with the staff because they are going to want him on both sides of the ball."
