Sharjeel Imam is merely echoing Iqbal and Jinnah, exposing the fiction left-liberals have peddled in the name of "Ganga-Jamuni" tehzeeb: that Islamists don’t see Hindus as a separate nation, that secularism can paper over this divide, and that Indian Muslims have abandoned the idea of the Ummah. People forget that all the Muslim Congress candidates lost in the 1937 elections. So, many Muslims who stayed behind in India voted for the Muslim League. A suspicious, dense object flagged by an X-ray machine at Delhi Metro’s Jama Masjid station triggered a dramatic CISF intervention. When challenged during inspection, the passenger allegedly tried to flee but was caught. A semi-solid substance was found concealed in a stitched portion of his undergarments. The man claimed to be an NRI residing in Kuala Lumpur. The substance remains unidentified, and its nature and purpose are yet to be established.
