We are releasing React Native Skia version 3.0 which runs WebGPU by default. By moving away from the OpenGL-centric design, it allows for multithreading by default as well as deep integration with three.js, vision camera, and transformer.js

Celebrating small wins is hardwired into "Achieve," our goal-tracking sample app.
We wanted the simple act of checking off a task to feel like a celebration. Instead of the standard #Material ripple, we used Styles to drop in a custom, high-contrast completion animationโspecifically, a brand-colored ring that expands and fades on tap, paired with a subtle pressed-state gradient.
It lets us focus entirely on polishing those custom, rewarding micro-interactions while Material handles the foundation.

7 years ago when I started with React Native I couldn't find any Bottom Sheet libraries like Native UI, I love how Slack created Pan Modal, but it seems UX has favored this more and more so we have a lot of libraries now.
