Q: "I have a question—have you ever gone through a period of confusion or uncertainty?" #TanJianci: "I've actually been in the industry for quite a long time. I’ve been rejected, I’ve experienced unemployment, had my résumé thrown away, and I’ve even been told I wasn’t suited to be an actor. But I think during that process, I was slowly gaining experience and insight into acting. Back then, I kept thinking—maybe one day, when heaven’s test for me is over, I’ll finally get to be seen by everyone. But then again, so what? Even now, I think there are still people who mock me—maybe not the same ones as before, but they still exist. So I believe that at every stage of life, there are problems waiting for you to face and solve" Your path truly hasn’t been easy. Thank you for holding on and never giving up. Every wound, every rejection, every lonely step—you turned them into strength. We’re so proud of the person and artist you’ve become. You truly deserve to be seen and loved..
