If you’re just giving allopurinol at 300mg daily, you’re condemning up to 4/5 of patients to miss serum uric acid targets. Allopurinol dosing is a massive cause of allopurinol failure. Slow escalating to target is safe & effective, even in renal impairment Lisa Stamp #ARANZRA24

In my clinic, we reassure males on MTX that it’s safe for them to try for a baby. Gr8 to see clear reasons why this is true #eular2023 We really need to change the PIs to reduce patient worry!

And then we end up with *FEAR syndrome* = Fear of an Elevated ANA Result. The number of people, mainly women, walking around with mislaid concerns they have *pre-SLE* etc or getting repeat after repeat ANAs is a problem, I feel for them.
