Today is an Art Appreciation Wednesday with another sensational piece of the beautiful @littlekeish from the hands of artist @Markclark_ii from New Jersey. This is my favorite art piece of Keisha. Pairing it up with a 2013 @BRCohn cabernet franc from Sonoma Valley. This one displays aromas of blueberry, thyme and dill weed with flavors full of cranberry, licorice and tobacco. Please check out all the artwork of @Markclark_ii and his renditions of @littlekeish. It’s true beauty all around.

Sunday Funday with my weekly fresh raw oysters and a 2023 @DuttonEstate “Kylie’s Cuvée” sauvignon blanc from Dutton Ranch in Russian River Valley as I’m watching “The Originals” on Amazon Prime. Kylie Dutton is the winemaker and there is a must visit tasting room, amongst the vines in Sebastopol. There is a nose of white peach, honeydew melon and citrus peel with flavors of tangerine, lime and red grapefruit. It pairs perfectly with the raw oysters, courtesy of @wholefoods in Fremont. My Saturday Selection with Gwen, the Gothic Highland Cow, is this gorgeous 2022 @paulhobbswinery pinot noir from the West Sonoma Coast.  This label is under the Paul Hobbs umbrella of wine brands. They are based out of Sebastopol in Sonoma County. This cool climate gem is drinking beautifully right now with aromas of raspberry, anise and sandalwood with a palette of pomegranate, anise and blood orange.  Found this at a local @costco. Highly recommended. Cheers.

Pizza Friday fun with this 2021 @cpgwineguy pinot noir from the Bien Nacido Vineyard in @VisitSMV. Winemaker Colby Parker-Garcia has this one displaying a nose of black cherry, carnation and graphite with flavors of black raspberry, anise and white pepper. Thirsty Thursday in a pumpkin patch with a Mascarin chardonnay from the Dalya Estate Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast. This producer is a boutique, family-owned winery located in Healdsburg with Matt Taylor as the winemaker. There is a tasting room in the Dry Creek Valley area of Sonoma County. There is a nose of orange peel, sage and apricot with flavors of lemon lime, white flowers and sea salt air. I heavily recommend this one. Cheers.

My Wine Wednesday choice among the glazed donuts is this 2021 @TheopolisV Theo-patra’s Cuvée Blanc from various California Vibeyards. Theopolis Vineyards is located in the Yorkville Highlands area with practicing attorney Theodora Lee as the owner/ vintner. Theodora is known as Theopatra, Queen of the Vineyards. Check out their website. This chardonnay shows a nose of pineapple, honeysuckle and chamomile tea with flavors of kiwi, lemon peel and grapefruit. Cheers.

Taco Tuesday with a 2023 @cabanawinery moscato from Lodi in San Joaquin County. This producer is a boutique urban winery founded in 2011 by former Wall Street investment banker and veteran winemaker Robert Smerling alongside his wife and daughters. There are aromas of jasmine, Meyer lemon and honeysuckle with flavors of apricot, lemon peel and ginger. Tacos courtesy of Don Julio’s Taqueria in Union City. Monday Motivation with Sally the Strawberry Cow and a 2015 pinot noir by @CaleraWine in Hollister from the Mun’s Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This one has a nose of pomegranate, thyme and dark raspberry with tastes of cranberry, mushroom and cherry cola. Calera has their tasting room in Hollister close to Eden RiftHave a great week!

There are aromas of honeydew melon, pear and mango with flavors of papaya, grapefruit and peach. The raw oysters are courtesy of Ocean Oyster Bar in Union City. Strongly suggest a visit to Ocean Oyster Bar for fresh oysters in the SF Area East Bay. Wine found at @klwines in Redwood City. Cheers.

My Saturday Selection is this 2018 @WindyOaksEstate “Eleven:11” pinot noir from their estate in the Santa Cruz Mountains.  A nose of blueberry, nutmeg and lavender are followed with full flavors of black cherry cola, cardamom and red plum. This Santa Cruz Mountain producer is led by winemaker Jim Schultze and his family with the winery in Corralitos and a tasting room in Carmel Valley. Cheers.

Pizza Friday with this 2020 @landmarkvyds pinot noir from the La Encantada Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills region of Santa Barbara County. This Sonoma County producer is led by winemaker Greg Stach with tasting rooms in the Kenwood and at Hop Kiln in Russian River Valley.
