How does your blue compare to others'? I implemented a new feature on ismy.blue to compare against a database of hundreds of people who took the test.
The donorbox link or this (ohmatdytfund.org/en/donate) are the two places where you can donate to support Okhmatdyt. And/or, support Ukraine by coming to a rally in your city (Seattle - 6:30pm, Space Needle)
I visited Okhmatdyt Children’s hospital in Ukraine. This is not a military target. Children from previous Russian strikes are treated there. Now Russia is targeting these children again. Horrific. Criminal. Inhumane.
Please help if you can. donorbox.org/okhmatdyt
russia bombed the largest children's hospital in Ukraine. The entire city came out to dig children and doctors from under the rubble. Aid - like air defense - could have saved so many kids today. russia did this in Syria. We know it will happen again and again. Call your reps.

For the first time, I'm teaching a class that I have fully prepped before. It's still a lot of work, but having the content "story" done means that I have more time to think about connecting with the students and responding to their curiosity. My favorite part of teaching!! 🥰
Happy spring 🌿 like in the old days, on March 1 I started writing pysanky at night, by candlelight, in the kitchen 🥚🕯(these are traditional designs from Vinnychchyna, Podillia, and Halychyna)

So there’s this one tattoo design that’s pretty popular.
A wolf face on one side and a skull on the other side.
I love this tattoo design because the message behind it is just so unintentionally GREAT....🧵

For Ukrainians, every single day for the past 2 years has been Feb 24. Every morning, I hold my grief and fold it away into pockets, hoping it won't spill out. Every day, the grief pockets of Ukrainians grow heavier, while our hearts beat and bleed in frozen time.

Hi, my name is Jo and I work with #seaweeds, freshwater #algae and #mosses @NHM_Botany.
One of my favourite specimens in the collection is this 3 metre long seaweed Alaria esculenta because it's such an eccentrically wonderful pressing.

So there's this artist named Xavi Bou that makes these time lapse photos of bird flight
He takes photos of them continuously as they fly so a single bird looks like a trail as it moves across the sky.
They're incredible photos, but there's another reason I find them cool 🧵
