The terrorist Houthi militias have shown the world what they are capable of. Their threat extends far beyond Saudi Arabia and Yemen. In @nytopinion, I explain why the international community can no longer afford to underestimate them. nytimes.com/2026/10/27/opini…

🇸🇦💚 ⸻ In the most difficult moments, the true character of a nation is revealed through the courage and compassion of its people. During the brutal Houthi terrorist attack on King Khalid International Airport, Saudi men and women demonstrated extraordinary bravery, putting the safety of others before their own, helping those in need, and continuing to serve even in the face of danger and injury. These heroes embody the values that define us as Saudis: courage, selflessness, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to one another. Their stories are more than individual acts of bravery. They are a powerful reminder that Saudi Arabia’s greatest strength lies in its people, their unity, and their solidarity in times of adversity. I am immensely proud of each and every one of them, and of everyone who stepped forward to help, protect, and save others when it mattered most. 🇸🇦💚
