I had a couple of patients who were bikers, and what they say is that they want to die on impact in case of any accident , they don’t want to be injured, lose a body part and end up bedridden so that's why they speed like that.
That's not even the saddest part, the fact that they can injure or even kill a pedestrian who is minding their business and trying to get home safely, with their reckless riding.
This is a serious issue and you’ll be surprised most of them think this way.
