The whole “let anyone change anything” model works fine for small groups of people (context is super important in all of this). At scale? It’s a hot mess, *especially* if you have aspirations for the “you build it, you run it” model.

With a low initial viral load, a normal immune system would have enough time to mount a proportionate response. But since the virus initially grows exponentially inside the human body, a large initial virus count can grow faster than the antibodies, thus leading to severe COVID.

Vitamin D: What's its role in fighting the #coronavirus? Thread I was initially reluctant to look into it. I'm very skeptical of the supplement industry given that most supplements don't really work, which is connected to the fact that they're not regulated. [1/

The Italian city that beat the plague: Ferrara. Not a single plague death since 1576. How did they do it, and what lessons can we learn today? (TLDR the thread: early preventive action, vigilance, public funding, effective borders).

Per #cynefin this is a complicated, linear system - not a complex system. A great visualization of a complicated software development work - not complex at all.

Yep you are correct. However, there is already a cure that prevents all that and makes it a mild illness. Just request Remdesivir from $GILD. Also, 500mg Chloroquine + 50mg Zinc 2X day for 4 days then 1X day for 6 days also prevents damage. This illness is cured already.

Neither Singapore nor Hong Kong seem to show any new cases of the virus for days (and the death toll is low, and remained at respectively 0 and 2). What are they doing right?
