Shoot me but this isn’t bad at all. The home game we sell to Perth in 28’ will operate under the same principle that sees us replace our Marvel home game with a game in Tassie… the club has been open that it needs cash for the redevelopment and we don’t have to go to Docklands!
Essendon and Richmond will be taking Dreamtime to Perth in 2027.
It will be a second Dreamtime game. First in SDNR at the MCG, the second at Optus in NAIDOC week.
The two clubs are selling a game each to generate cash. It’s a two year deal - Essendon home game in 27, Richmond in 28.
But - members are expected to have extra seating arranged at away MCG games to make up for the home game heading West. More on @7AFL @7NewsMelbourne shortly.
