Both!! but in special occasions tbh. Petnames would be slightly more of a Dazai thing and reserved for sexy times, (baby, sweetheart, love) or when they’re trying to tease the other (a teasing darling here and there). They use nicknames like Chuu and ‘Samu in the privacy (1/2)

comedy are an amalgam of all the romcoms I love. I could give a more technical explanation, but I think you meant if I wrote my romcoms based on any specific movie, so, not plot-wise (yet). I once wrote a fic with the plot of "what happens in vegas" tho (for another fandom)
