if you've ever lost money in a bull market it's highly likely because you have constantly chopped and changed your positions rather than having a significant amount of your portfolio in conviction trades (spot) and letting them run altho the latter is actually incredibly easy on paper, psychologically, it's a lot harder coz in a bull mkt u see stuff going up 100x every other day and unless it's ur position u feel fomo and the urge to top blast etc etc the answer is to just make sure you have split your capital into i) the big spot bag u don't touch ii) the degen bag which lets you enjoy your vices u then want to rotate your profits from the degen bag into the spot bag thus capturing and compounding your gains through the cycle until you find the right time to sell all sounds easy on paper but people (including myself) fk it up all the time
