I do believe Love’s probably should’ve been grounding, but this Goff play and the Mahomes play on SNF just show the absolute lack of consistency and then subjectivity on flags. Too much money involved for this to happen.

No, but there is a major problem with NFL officiating. Two crews can call the game completely differently. And defenders are basically not allowed to touch the QB

There is no consistency by officiating crews in the NFL. Almost all penalties are subjective and every single referee calls it differently. A billion (trillion?) dollar industry decided by some overaged men, some of which feel the need to be the center of attention

On the pass by Patrick Mahomes, the officials ruled No. 11, Jalen Royals, was in the area, therefore it was not intentional grounding. Two totally different calls for the Chiefs and Packers. Pretty wild.
