People don’t like evopsych because it makes them uncomfortable. In a field of study devoid of empirical conclusions at least evo psyche has the balls to contribute something meaningful.

I'm finding myself increasingly annoyed by common evopsych explanations for human behavior — they seem to have become some sort of folk wisdom, especially in describing sex differences, but I don't find them compelling. Anyone else? Any recs for reading, whether pro/anti?

I’m a big fan of building the trenches for the Pats over skill positions. We need to have a consistent run game. Our QB is already one of the best in the sport. He can handle drives with a bunch of WR2s.

Drake Maye was under pressure on 42.9% of his dropbacks against Chicago and still played some of his best football when the pocket collapsed. Under pressure: • 11/12 passing (91.7%) • 151 yards • 1 TD That 91.7% completion rate ties the highest single-game mark under pressure in the NFL this season. 321 yards, 2 TDs, and a loss. Maye deserved better.
