how to train your subconscious to feel safe being fully yourself:
- start making decisions without constantly seeking reassurance from other people. the more you honor your own judgment, the more you teach yourself that you can trust the person you are.
- get comfortable with being misunderstood. people are always going to perceive you through the lens of their own experiences, beliefs, and conditioning. you don't have to make their perception your reality.
- become aware of the moments you abandon yourself for the sake of being accepted. even the smallest act of choosing yourself begins to undo years of conditioning.
- spend more time in solitude. go on long walks without stimulation. sit with your thoughts. become so familiar with your own inner world that you no longer need the outside world to constantly affirm it.
- keep the little promises you make to yourself. your subconscious is always paying attention to the evidence you give it. every time you follow through, you reinforce the belief that you're someone you can rely on.
- release the need to control how you're perceived. let people think what they want. there's so much freedom in realizing that you can exist fully and authentically without needing everyone to understand you.
Reach a point where you're so deeply rooted in who you are that external validation starts to lose its grip on you.
Please, study your Bible. Not just the verses that make you feel good, or the ones that fit your current situation. Study the difficult passages too. Understand the context. Ask questions. Seek wisdom. You cannot build a deep relationship with a God whose Word you barely know.

One reason that I’m such an open book is because you never know who needed to hear your testimony, to whatever big or small. Your testimony could be the reason why a person stays another day… 🤍🥺

Built this timeline brick by brick, and I couldn't be more pleased 🙏🏽

A liar cannot lead a household. A cheater cannot lead a household. A man who refuses to take accountability cannot lead a household. A man who cannot control his emotions cannot lead a household.

Do not contract an autoimmune disease because of built up anger. Let. It. Out. Unprocessed emotion doesn’t vanish, it circulates. It moves through the nervous system, tightens the jaw, shortens the breath, hardens the gut. Over time, suppression turns into chronic tension, dysregulation, inflammation… and symptoms doctors struggle to fully explain.. 1//5

The most painful aspect of ADHD is something called RSD — Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria. It turns even the tiniest mistakes into disasters, making you feel like a failure who ruined everything. Here’s what’s actually happening:.

I have been free from sex and masturbation for nine months now. During this period, I have remained prayerful, disciplined, and focused, and things have gradually started falling into place. I landed a well-paying job, moved into a better house, and my chicken business is flourishing. All I can say is that lust of the flesh can distract you from your purpose and keep you from reaching your full potential. Sometimes, you have to make difficult sacrifices, exercise self-control, and let go of temporary pleasures for the sake of a greater good. Discipline today can open doors that temporary pleasure might keep closed.

Sometimes, making space physically is also a reflection of what God wants to do spiritually. You cannot keep holding on to everything old and expect to have room for the new. Clean your space, clear your mind and make room for what God is doing next.
Me asf. I don’t mind reaching out, making plans. I just forget to lol.
Major cheat code in life: Be the one who reaches out. Text first. Call first. Plan first. Initialize first. Most people wait to be chosen. Be the chooser. Connection requires initiative. Friendship requires effort. Love requires action. Stop waiting to be picked. Start picking. Initiative is attractive.

Normalize thanking God when ordinary days return. Sleeping well, laughing again, and making plans means life is being restored.

I think ppl get offended when you aren't ashamed of things that they were taught to be ashamed of. They resent you for not caring what everybody thinks.
