It is not a zero sum game. Because something benefits care workers doesn't mean you have lost. Why are falling into the same trap that the government keeps laying. Pitting you against other migrant workers & undervaluing their work. Can I ask how much you've engaged with your union, civil organisations or charities since the initial announcement? Have you joined Unison at any of their protests? This is the same crabs in a bucket mentality that has pervaded British society. I guess you can say you've integrated because you seem to have learned it well. Immigration can be such a souless thing. See how politicians have made you sort your life into skills and income groups and you are using that rank to classify yourself, your worth and the value of other's "contributions". Your hands are not tied and if you believe that instead of finding ways to challenge the unfair system, the solution is to try to push others down because you feel "cheated", then the Government has already won.
