Should reiterate that Japan is only this great in those above regards because of their culture. Yes, they have issues. Every country does. But - Japan rail system > American cars.

Calling it now. Hellaverse is going to end like the Sherlock / Dr. Who where no one thinks upon it fondly and no new audience comes. The audience for the show is largely teens and young adults. They’ll (hopefully) mentally grow as they age and will see both shows are garbage.

Unlike broadway and broadway inspired films / vise-verse such as Beetlejuice, Little Shop of Horrors, Hades Town, and Hamilton, there’s no staying power. There’s no well planned story or themes. We’re seeing real time Helluvs Boss degrade into dust with its own characters.

It’s ironic Vivziepop despises Steven Universe and Dana Terrace. At least SU has a theme it follows with good and paced character arcs. At least Dana Terrace’s work is actually mature with respect to its sensitive topics.
