Spending the morning replying “hey sorry just seeing this” to every political text from a candidate who lost a race last night
He said in an interview he flew private for a couple thousand a month, so this is just needless high horsing
That chartered flight out of Austin to the Bahamas that crashed was probably about $25k each way, over $7,000 per person round-trip for the seven person party. You could buy first class tickets on Delta for a party of 7 for $35k less than a charter. Travel time is only about an hour and a half longer, because of the connection in ATL. What is the rationale for people who do this? I’m fortunate enough financially that if I really wanted to blow $35k on something ridiculous every year, I could (although I don’t). But why would someone choose, of all things, charter flights between two commercially served airports? I’d rather overpay for a piece of art or buy my wife some jewelry or get my daughter an English riding horse… something that has some tangibility and persistence to it.
Has anyone ever had a dunk tank in their booth at #reInvent? Feel like that would do numbers

The day after Portland traded for Ja Morant, coach Micah Nori’s phone rang. It was All-Star Deni Avdija, who had a question:
“He was just like, ‘Micah … how is this going to work?’” Nori said.
Inside the call that set tone for Blazers’ hot start.
